Markey Robinson inspired paintings
6th Feb 2024
Y7 pupils through their thematic unit entitled ‘Hunger’ have been learning about famine in the world today, and The Great Irish Famine. This led us to find out more about a Belfast artist called Markey Robinson. He is best known for his depictions of rural villages, still lifes and seascapes. A feature throughout his work is the use of bold outlines around shapes to create a stained glass mirror effect. Everyone was able to reflect this key feature in their art piece.
